HCT Rates

Please note that Rates for Courses are per person, and are subject to minimum numbers attending each Course. To see what is covered by our training at each level, please see our PDF of the National Syllabus.

Courses:

  • Level 2 Course - £50 (Minimum 7 Trainees)
    Schools can now apply to receive a share of Cycling England funding towards Level 2 Training (Year 5 and upwards). If you have any queries or would like any further information please email Gina Longley or call her on 01494-586639.
  • Level 1+ Course - £20 (Minimum 10 Trainees)
  • (Subsidised rate for Courses held at Haddenham Community Junior School - £15)
  • Level 1 Basic Course - £15 (Minimum 10 Trainees)
  • (Subsidised rate for Courses held at Haddenham's First Schools - £10)

Private Lessons:

  • Individuals at any Level - £20 per hour (there may be a travel fee, please ask)
  • Groups can be catered for - Please ask for details of Rates.

Cycling Awareness Days Held At Schools / Parks, etc.

A Cycling Awareness Day can include all or some of the following:

  • Bike Safety Checks for up to approximately 90 children
  • An Assembly on the Importance of Wearing Helmets and other Safety Issues
  • One Hour's Cycle Training per Class - maximum 30 pupils
  • Cycling Games
  • Worksheets / Classroom Activities
  • Certificates and Giveaways for All Participants

A Cycling Awareness Full Day is usually 6 hours in duration, to include time for all the bike checks and administration.

We can also offer a Cycling Awareness Morning or Afternoon, which is usually 3-4 hours in duration, including time for bike checks and administration.

The cost of these events decreases if you are able to provide additional Volunteers who can assist with administration and training (instruction will be given). If you are a very small school, we may be able to offer you a lower rate. Please contact us for details.

  • 1 Instructor + Volunteers - £300 per Day (subsidised rate in Haddenham - £200)
  • 2 Instructors + Volunteers - £400 per Day
  • 3 Instructors - £500 per Day

These rates are current from 1st April 2009.
