Bike MaintenanceBike Maintenance

Thanks to an Extended Services Programme Grant funded by Buckinghamshire County Council, Haddenham Cycle Training offers free Bike Maintenance for Haddenham school children’s bikes.

We will check brakes, wheels and tyres, frames and transmission system, and we will do our best to fix any minor faults.

Labour, bike checks and small parts are free. Other parts are replaced at cost if required. Since repairs must be carried out within the time available, you may be asked to return to our next Maintenance session, depending on numbers waiting.

We have revised our timetable for these sessions, and are now only doing we are only doing two bigger sessions between now and the end of term on:

  • Thursday 11th June 2009
  • Thursday 2nd July 2009

Both will be held at Haddenham Community Junior School, but we will welcome bikes from ALL school children from any of the Haddenham Schools. Free checks and basic repairs will be carried out by four instructors who will be available at each session.

In addition to these sessions, Dr Bike will be in Aylesbury on the 19th June 2009 at County Hall, and on 20th June 2009 at Kingsbury Square. Please contact Francesca Flaxton for more details, and those of you who are already booked on the courses taking place on 21st June might like to take their bikes there beforehand.
