As a Bikeability scheme provider (Cycling Proficiency for the 21st Century), Haddenham Cycle Training aims to improve cycling ability and knowledge, both on and off the road. We want to enable those we train to enjoy cycling more frequently and more safely. We deliver cycle training within Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
We train and assess children through a Progressive Training Package, from Reception up to Secondary School, until they are ready to venture unaccompanied on the roads. We also train children out of school as well as adults and are happy to tailor sessions for individual needs. We organise cycling activities and rides for youth groups and we run a monthly Bike Club in Haddenham.
In December 2010, Haddenham Cycle Training became an Instructor Training Organisation (ITO). We are one of only 18 ITOs in the UK recognised by the Department for Transport, an amazing achievement for an organisation of our size. We can now train more instructors and welcome existing cycling instructors as members of HCT-ITO.© Haddenham Cycle Training 2011
